Sama Rava Dosa

Sama rice ( also called Sama chawal/ancient millet/Samai/ Bhagar, Varai )is an essential food for fasting , especially during Navratri and festivals. It's rich in carbohydrates, proteins and it gives energy throughout the day. I have prepared Sama rice Dosa which is crispy, tasty and is an excellent option for breakfast or Lunch. Try it out and enjoy!
Ingredients and spices that need to be Take to make Sama Rava Dosa:
- 1 cup Sama Rice soaked overnight
- 1 cup Sago/ sabudana soaked overnight
- 1/2 cup Fresh curd
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- For chutney
- 1/4 cup Crushed peanut
- 1/2 cup Curd
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp Chilli and ginger paste
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Water
- 1 tablespoon Chopped coriander leaves
- 1-2 tablespoon Ghee
Instructions to make to make Sama Rava Dosa
- First, drain the water and grind the soaked Sama rice along with sabudana, salt, curd, sugar and water to a smooth paste.



- Keep covered for 10 minutes. Then heat a tawa. Spread a few drops of ghe and wipe with a tissue paper.


- Then pour a laddlefull of mixture and spread it around to a round disc. Spread some ghee around. Cook it like dosa till the base becomes golden brown. Remove to a serving plate.


- Make all the dosas in similar way. Serve with peanut andcurd chutney.

- To make chutney: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Stir well till it is smooth. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with Dosa. Enjoy!!
