Ingredients and spices that need to be Get to make Chicken Tikka Biryani:

  1. 500 grams basmati rice
  2. 500 grams For tikka: boneless chicken
  3. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  5. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  6. 1 tsp cumin powder
  7. 1 tsp chaat masala powder
  8. 1 tbsp chickpea flour
  9. 1 tsp mustard oil
  10. 2 tbsp yogurt
  11. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  12. 1 tsp salt
  13. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  14. 4 tbsp oil
  15. For boiling rice:
  16. 1 " cinnamon
  17. 2 bay leaves
  18. 3 green chillies
  19. 3-4 clves
  20. 1 tbsp salt
  21. For biryani gravy:
  22. 1/4 cup oil
  23. 1 sliced onion
  24. 2 sliced tomatoes
  25. 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  26. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  27. to taste salt
  28. 1 Whole spices: star anise
  29. 4 cloves
  30. 2 green cardemoms
  31. 1 black cardemom
  32. 1 "cinnamon stick
  33. 2-3 bay leaves
  34. 1/2 mace
  35. as required For garnishing:some fried brown onion and coriander leaves
  36. 2-3 green chillies

Instructions to make to make Chicken Tikka Biryani

  1. Take chicken in abowl,add all the ingredients of marinating chicken.Mix well.Keep in friedge for 1 hour.
  2. Let's boil rice.Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.Heat 1.5 litre water in a vessel Add all the ingredients mentioned.Boil water.
  3. Add rice and cook till 90%done.Drain and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add chicken pueces.Cook on high flame for 3 minutes then flip the tikka.Cook three minutes covered on medium heat.Keep aside.
  5. Heat ghee in a deep vessel,add whole spices and onion.Fry till light brown.Add ginger garlic paste.Saute 2 minutes.Add all powdered spuces.Saute 1 minute.
  6. Add tomato slices,salt and bay leaves.Add 2 tbsp water cover and cook for 2-3minutes.
  7. Gravy is prepared,add chicken tikka to the gravy.Do not stir.Add boiled rice.
  8. Add 1/2cup remained boiled water.Garnish with brown onion and chopped coriander leaves.Add green chillies too.
  9. Cover and leave on dum on lowest flame for 10 minutes
  10. After 10 minutes,put off heat and serve biryani with raita.
