  14. 1-2 bay leaf
  15. 2 cloves
  16. 4 black pepper
  17. 1 green cardamom
  18. 1 black cardamom
  19. 2-3 tbsp oil or ghee
  20. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  21. leaves Some Chopped coriander
  22. Some leaves mint
  23. Saffron soaked in some milk
  24. as needed water

Steps to make to make Veg Biryani

  1. First, wash rice and soaked for 1/2 hour and also soaked soya badi in warm water.
  2. Now heat oil in a pressure cooker add cumin and whole spices to crackle.
  3. Now add half onion,ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute. Now add all veggies and mix well and add spices.cover for a minute on low flame.add saffron with some milk.
  4. Now squeezed soya badi in water and add in veggies and mix well.add coriander leaves also.
  5. In other side fry 1/2 chopped onion properly. And add in cooker.
  6. Now add yogurt and mix well.add 1-3/4 glass water to boil it. Keep the flame high.
  7. After that add rice mix well.cover the lid properly and allow one whistle on high flame. Let it cool until release the whistle.
  8. Serve the hot Biryani with raita.
