- To taste salt
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 2 tbsp refined oil
- 2 green chillies chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Steps to make to make Paneer Biryani
- Heat oil in a nonstick wok and add the ground onion ginger garlic paste alongwith curd,biryani masala and salt.Fry the masala alongwith some green peas.Then add the fried paneer cubes,cashewnuts,chopped coriander and toss.

- Boil the rice with little salt and cook 75%.Drain and rinse rice to remove excess starch.The rice should not be sticky.

- Add ghee to the wok and sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala.Fry the sliced onion crispy brown and set aside.

- Add cashewnuts to the remaining oil and spread a layer of rice.Sprinkle orange red food colour,Saffron milk and mitha attar. Then spread the tossed paneer and green peas.Spread the remaining rice and fried onion and close lid tightly.Place the wok on a nonstick tawa and slow cook on low flame till done.Lightly shake and toss the wok and serve paneer biryani with chilled raita.
